Hand-looped stainless steel wire sculpture, technique in the tradition of Ruth Asawa, executed entirely by hand. A vertical composition of three suspended forms, a slender teardrop, a broad lens-shaped volume enclosing a nested inner sphere, and a smaller teardrop tapering into fine woven thread. Inspired by the beginning of human life, the central form evoking gestation. Height: 70 in. Diameter: 12 in.
